The Professors passion for "The Science of Deceit" started here...

Employed by the Ministry (in a covert capacity) to help introduce the law ending dishonest politics, you can see his hand all over the posts of past.

Current political circumstances have forced him to reveal himself and as we speak, MPs are signing up to re-introduce The Elected Representatives (Prohibition of Deception) Bill for debate with over 80,000 voters supporting them.

Posts before Jan '08 are purely for the record (with hindsight they make fascinating reading). Posts after May 13th mark the Professor's return.

Quote of the Week

"There's a system which I shall call explicitly organised lying by 10 Downing Street. And they will openly say things which are untrue"

"This is the first Prime Minister that I've ever heard of who will apparently say things which are untrue to get away from 24 hours of embarassment."

Peter Bottomley MP
Interview with The Ministry of Truth

We'll be posting the full interview tomorrow

  1. Of course he's going to say that, he's a Tory.

  2. Pretty strong criticism, even for a tory!

  3. I have to say the current revelations about Lord Levy aren't going anywhere to disprove Bottomley comments. Seems the man may be right.

  4. According to Guido, Turner’s memo reads: "Oh fuck, Levy has asked me to lie for him."

Such bad language - L*** is a particularly nasty four letter word ; )
